Instructions for use of expansion head：
The expansion head is a special accessory of the pipe expander, and it is the key part of the pipe expander to complete the expansion. When using the expansion head, it should meet the following requirements:
1、Before formal expansion, start the machine without load and preheat it for 3-5 minutes.
2、 Before expanding the tube, the sharp edge and burr at the end of the heat exchanger must be removed to avoid damaging the expanding head.
3、Before installing or replacing the expansion rod, use a syringe or other methods to fill the expansion rod with water or selected expansion medium to remove the air in the expansion rod.
4、Every time the installation hose and expansion head are replaced, the air in the ultra-high pressure system must be drained, and the expansion medium must be supplemented in time, so as to avoid affecting the work efficiency and ensure the operation safety.
5、During expansion, no one is allowed to stand on the extension line of expansion hole of heat exchanger (opposite to heat exchanger), otherwise, steel plate or other methods shall be used for protection.
6、For some nozzles that cannot be inserted into the expansion head, the outer circle of the expansion head can be grinded down, and the gap between the inner diameter of the pipe and the outer diameter of the expansion head should not exceed 0.3mm. Excessive gap will reduce the service life of the expansion head.
7、 During the expansion operation, the expansion head can only be pulled out after the pressure is completely relieved. Before the expansion pressure is completely removed, it is strictly forbidden to pull out the expansion head, otherwise the expansion rod will be seriously damaged.
8、 When inserting or pulling out the expansion head, do not twist the expansion head.
9、 It is forbidden to carry out expansion operation before the expansion rod is inserted into the pipe hole or before it is completely inserted into the pipe hole, so as to avoid damaging the expansion rod.
